Accommodation:
The Kings House Hotel in Glen Coe was built in the 17th century and is believed to be one of Scotland's oldest licensed inns. The building was used after the Battle of Culloden (1745), as a barracks for troops of George III, hence the name Kings House. It has a long association with mountaineering and with Mountain Rescue and has kindly offered us a discount rate for us for the week. Accommodation will be on a shared room basis and will include breakfast in the hotel.
Price:
The cost is £75 per person for SARDA Wales members. This cost has been subsidised by SARDA Wales at £50 per person. The price includes bed and breakfast accommodation for the week. There is no charge for the instruction element and you will need to buy your own evening meals and bring packed lunches. The hotel can provide lunches for those that want them at an extra cost. There is free camping to the rear of the hotel for those that want to rough it.
There will be small additional costs if we use uplift at the ski centres so bring some cash.

axe and crampons and a kit list can be provided for anyone that wants one. If anyone has their own snow shovel then please bring it along.
This will be a physical week as we will have a good walk into the areas each day and will be working in the cold. You need to happy with 4 consecutive mountain days out in winter.
