Graham meeting some goats.                          Graham in Isle of Man May 2007

Graham's adventures with Antony Autumn 2006

Graham in shock Scottish Wedding witnessed by Mr Rocco Pebble and Mrs Lime Stone !

Graham turned up in Richard Beech's sack at the Malltraeth weekend, spent a month relaxing in Tremadog, doing a spot of climbing etc, enjoying the sunshine, went to Criccieth beach to see some of his mates, he even went to Portmeirion to the Prisoner convention!

On the 9th of July Graham went missing yet again. Turns out he hitched a ride in Kevin Wheatley's sack and went to Fort William, as he'd got bored just hanging around! Kevin left him in the bar under Nevis Sport, and that's where he met Morag

Morag was a barmaid and offered to show Graham the sights, and that's not all she showed him. After a whirlwind romance they were married on the 21st of July. They spent their Honeymoon touring the Highlands and Islands and returned to Tremadog in early September. Unfortunately the car they hitched a ride in was involved in a crash on the M6, and Morag was injured. She lost her right eye, but is currently on the waiting list for a glass one. As you can see she still has her looks!

The pair are blissfully happy, and have promised to carry on the tradition of sack hopping and getting to know all of the SARDA Wales members starting at the Felin Fach weekend, 16th & 17th of Sept.

So remember to keep a look out for the happy couple, and give them somewhere nice & comfortable to stay. Please send any photos or gossip to the S.W.I.U email where-is-graham@sardawales.org.uk !

Previous Graham news below....

Have you seen Graham?

He is about 15cm or 6" high, has blonde hair, with Elvis sideburns, wearing a blue bobble hat, green jacket and red tartan trousers, when last seen. Rolls with a wobble and weighs less than a bag of sugar. He also has his name and 'property of SARDA Wales' stamped on his bum. Graham started his life in February 2005; he was made by Maddie Burnham of Criccieth, so that SARDA Wales members could entertain themselves during breaks in training whilst on the annual Scottish course at Loch Insh, Aviemore. He was named Graham as Roly always shouts Graham whilst he's searching with Willow to keep her interested in her work.

Rolf and Graham

During the 2005 Scottish week, Graham found himself in many different rucksacks belonging to many dog handlers and bodies alike, being passed around like a hot potato as no-one wanted to receive the forfeit that was planned for whoever ended up with him at the end of the week. Sadly Graham was not found before we all headed back home and we thought he was lost forever, but when we returned to Loch Insh this year, he was waiting for us, as he had gone home with Dave affectionately known as ‘Body Whiskey’ to England. During the 2006 Scottish Winter Course, Graham again found himself inhabiting many an unsuspecting body and handler’s rucksack, as he tried to keep warm and out of the snow. Last year Graham lost his toes due to frostbite as he wasn’t looked after properly. Body Spence was horrified to find Graham in his sack one morning after proclaiming that he would never manage to get in his rucksack. Equally disgruntled was Iain as he thought he had hidden Graham in Spence’s sack only to discover that he had put him in his own new sack.  This did delay Graham’s travels as he spent all Tuesday in the Chalet listening to daytime TV.

The rest of the week is a bit of a blur to Graham as it happened so quickly, so if you can help fill in the blanks of where he was and when, we can help restore his memory.

Graham’s whereabouts now are still unknown but the SARDA Wales Intelligence Unit (S.W.I.U) has received information that he has returned home to Wales, maybe co-habiting with a woman in the Conway Valley?

Rumours have it that the Russians have planted a listening device in Graham’s right ear and a mini camera in his left eye to spy on S.W.I.U., so please be careful what you say and do when you meet him. Any information received by the S.W.I.U will be treated in the strictest confidence only to be revealed after copious amounts of alcohol!!!

If you have any information on Grahams whereabouts or travels, e-mail, in confidence of course, to
