A big thank you to RAF Valley for supporting SARDA Wales as their local charity of the year 2006. The money donated has gone towards purchasing 5 GPS's for use on call outs for the dog handlers. The donation of these units will help greatly in search callouts with the dog handlers in the area, and all are grateful for the support of RAF Valley.

First Hydro Company, Dinorwig Power Station, Llanberis very kindly donated SARDA Wales £1000, as part of their Charity of the Year sponsorship. The money has been put towards buying a laptop and a projector, which will be used to present informative talks to local clubs and associations, in order to raise funds for the daily running of the Charity and to raise our profile. Seeing pictures gives a much better overall idea of what we do, and how we do it.

Both the laptop and projector are proving invaluable as a training tool when we get together for weekend training. They have also been used on searches; enabling us to download tracks from our GPS’ and put them all onto one map so the search managers can see exactly where we have searched.

SARDA Wales would like to take this opportunity to thank First Hydro Company for their very generous donation and support.
