SARDA Wales’s assistance was requested in the early hours of this morning by North Wales Police not only once, but twice in quick succession
The first call came at 01:00, to assist in the search for a missing male from the Prestatyn area. We deployed one trailing dog team to liaise with local officers. As Search Dog ‘Izzy’, and Dog Handlers Tim and Ester were arriving, they were diverted to a second incident in Bodelwyddan to search for a missing female.
Search Dog ‘Izzy’ and Dog Handler Tim begun their trail for the missing female but fortunately news came that she had been located safe and well by local officers. The team then deployed to the original incident in Prestatyn where they worked a short trail and assist North Wales Police with their enquiries.
The Dogs and Handlers were stood down at 05:00 after a busy night’s work
